MURFREESBORO, TN – Tennessee Soccer Club delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 Spring Tennessee State Cup this weekend, with five teams capturing State Cup Championships, seven additional teams earning finalist finishes, and 24 total TSC teams competing at Richard Siegel Soccer Complex in Murfreesboro.

Competing against the top clubs from across the state, TSC players and coaches showcased the club’s continued commitment to player development, competitive excellence, and championship-level performance across multiple age groups.

“This weekend was a tremendous reflection of the work our players, coaches, and families put in every single day,” said TSC Director of Soccer Stephen Jordan. “To see 24 teams competing at State Cup and five bringing home championships is an incredible accomplishment for the entire club.”

On Saturday, the 2011 Williamson Girls NPL were the first to lift the championship trophy winning 1-0.  On Sunday, four more teams followed suit.  In the U16 age group, the 2010 Murfreesboro ECNL RL Girls captured the title.

In a TSC vs. TSC battle, the 2013 ECNL Girls won out over the 2013 ECNL RL Girls.  At U12, the 2014 Murfreesboro Boys Showcase earned a 3-2 win for the championship.  The 2011 ECNL RL group finished the successful weekend with their own victory and medal ceremony

In addition to the five championship teams, seven TSC teams advanced to championship matches as finalists, further demonstrating the consistency and competitiveness of the club throughout the tournament.

TSC congratulates all players, coaches, and families who represented the club throughout the State Cup season and celebrates the collective achievement of all 24 teams competing this weekend.

In total, TSC teams won six Tennessee State Cup Championships this year as well as nine finalist appearances, including both the fall and spring state cup tournaments.  In all 36 TSC teams competed in the two tournaments.

“Overall, we are proud of how TSC was representing this year,” Jordan said.  “As we head into tryouts and a new beginning with the age group change, I am excited for the future of the club and all the players accomplishments.”

Tennessee Soccer Club Announces the Additions of New Directors for 2026-27

FRANKLIN, TN – Tennessee Soccer Club is pleased to announce the addition of four new staff members who will in key leadership roles across the club beginning with the 2026-27 season.

The new additions include:

• Brent McGee – Director of Goalkeeping
• Aaron Rucker – Assistant U12-U19 Boys Director
• Adan Gonzalez – Assistant Director of Goalkeeping
• Elijah Zeisloft – Assistant Academy Director

Brent McGee – Director of Goalkeeping

McGee joins TSC from Colorado Rush Soccer Club, where he served as the Goalkeeper Director from 2022-2026.  While in Colorado, he also coached the goalkeepers at the Colorado School of Mines, helping lead the Orediggers to their first-ever College Cup appearance as well as three Elite Eight appearances and four Sweet Sixteen finishes.

Prior to Colorado Rush, McGee worked as Goalkeeper Director at Colorado Edge Soccer Club, mentoring 80 goalkeepers throughout the club.  He holds both the USSF C License and United Soccer Coaches Level 1 and 2 Goalkeeper Diploma certifications.  McGee isn’t a stranger to the Middle Tennessee community, having played collegiately at Lipscomb University.

Aaron Rucker – Assistant U12-U19 Boys Director

Rucker joins the full-time staff at TSC after serving as Director of Performance at One Knoxville SC and Men’s Assistant Soccer Coach at Maryville College.  Prior to that, he was the Head Academy Performance Coach at Nashville Soccer Club.

Rucker holds a USSF B License and a master’s degree in Applied Kinesiology and Physiology from the University of Florida.  A former collegiate player at Maryville College, he currently coaches both boys and girls teams at TSC and joins Jon Williams in helping lead the U12-U19 Boys program.

Adan Gonzalez – Assistant Director of Goalkeeping

Gonzalez joins the TSC Goalkeeping Staff with a strong background in player development and goalkeeper training.  Prior to TSC, Gonzalez served as a member of the Academy Goalkeeper Coaching staff at Nashville SC.  Adan was a standout at Trevecca Nazarene University as the starting goalkeeper and played for TSC’s USL League Two and ECNL programs.

Elijah Zeisloft – Assistant Academy Director

Zeisloft joins the TSC Academy leadership team and is currently coaching for TSC in the Academy.  Prior to arriving at TSC, he was a Training Assistant at PA Classics in Pennsylvania.  Elijah played collegiately at Trevecca Nazarene University and played for PA Classics Developmental Academy and MLS Next as well as Eastern Pennsylvania ODP.

Tennessee Soccer Club Names Jason Mazuk as Director of Player Development – TSC Nashville

FRANKLIN, TN – Tennessee Soccer Club announces the appointment of Jason Mazuk as Director of Player Development – TSC Nashville. In this role, Mazuk will lead player development initiatives across TSC Nashville programs, supporting coaches and directors, and helping guide players along a clear, long-term pathway.

Mazuk brings a strong background in player development, coaching education, and program leadership. He has built a reputation for creating environments that prioritize both individual growth and team success, with a focus on technical development, game understanding, and a positive player experience.

“We are excited to welcome Jason back to TSC,” said Stuart Brown, Executive Director. “His passion for developing players will continue to strengthen our commitment to providing a high-level, player-centered environment in our TSC Nashville location.”

Mazuk returns to TSC after serving as Director of Soccer at Music City Football Club.  Prior to his leadership role at MCFC, Jason coached at TSC and was the Girls Academy Director at Nashville FC Youth, which merged with TSC in 2019.  Mazuk holds a USSF “B” License and played collegiately at the University of Massachusetts and Cumberland University.

“I’m honored to be named Director of Player Development – TSC Nashville and grateful for the trust and confidence TSC has placed in me,” said Mazuk. “I’m excited to develop players and empower coaches in a way that lives out the club’s mission of positively impacting the community and its commitment to Developing Excellence.”

As Director of Player Development – TSC Nashville, Mazuk will work closely with TSC’s director staff to implement the club’s development model. Mazuk joins TSC Nashville Director Coy Boazman and Assistant Director Mikey Alley in helping continue the growth of TSC Nashville’s recreational and competitive programs.

“Bringing Jason back to TSC now in a director role allows us to enhance the technical development aspect for our players as that is where he excels as a coach and leader,” said Director of Soccer Stephen Jordan.  “With Coy, Mikey, and now Jason, our TSC Nashville staff is stronger than ever and will continue its positive trajectory.”

TSC Cares Raises Over $23,000 to Help Special Olympics Tennessee Soccer Program

FRANKLIN, TN – Tennessee Soccer Club hosted its annual Soccer-A-Thon Saturday, February 21 at Robert Ring Arena in Franklin, TN to raise money for the Special Olympics Tennessee (SOTN). The event raised over $15,000 to help the SOTN with its soccer program.

Nearly 60 Special Olympic Tennessee athletes participated in two hour-long clinics with TSC players and coaches leading the sessions and pairing up with the SOTN athletes.

“The Soccer-A-Thon is an event I look forward to every year, supporting such a great community partner like Special Olympics Tennessee,” said TSC Tournament Director & Events Coordinator Jimmy Drain. “Watching the joy that takes place with the Special Olympics athletes and the TSC players together all smiling and having fun makes the day special.”

TSC began partnering with Special Olympics Tennessee in 2016 and has helped raise over $270,000 toward the cause. Through TSC’s fundraising assistance, Special Olympics Tennessee was able to re-launch its soccer program and create more opportunities for athletes.

“We are so excited to continue our partnership with Tennessee Soccer Club,” said Adam Germek President and CEO of Special Olympics Tennessee. “The money [TSC] raises and the support provided to our athletes allows us to provide programming, support, training, and competitions for all of our soccer athletes. We appreciate everything [TSC] does.”

“As a part of our values as a club, TSC Cares and the Soccer-A-Thon creates a platform for all to share our passion for soccer,” Drain added.

Tennessee Soccer Club Announces Renée Clifford as Director of Development

FRANKLIN, TN – Tennessee Soccer Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Renée Clifford as the club’s new Director of Development, effective immediately.

In her role, Clifford will lead TSC’s fundraising and development efforts, focusing on donor engagement, community partnerships, and long-term strategies that support the club’s mission of providing exceptional soccer opportunities for players of all backgrounds across Middle Tennessee.

Clifford brings a strong background in nonprofit development, relationship management, and community engagement. Most recently, she served as a Development Associate with Young Life Nashville, where she worked closely with donors and community partners, led fundraising initiatives and events, and supported annual campaigns that strengthened long-term donor relationships

“We are excited to welcome Renée to Tennessee Soccer Club and to have her lead our development efforts at such an important time for our organization,” said Executive Director Stuart Brown. “Her passion for youth development and her proven ability to build meaningful relationships will be instrumental as we grow our community partnerships and strengthen the foundation that supports our players and families for years to come.”

In addition to her development experience, Clifford has worked in education, further reinforcing her commitment to supporting student-athletes both on and off the field. Her experience also includes professional sales and stakeholder engagement roles, as well as leadership and coaching experience within youth soccer programs. She holds a Master of Education from Lipscomb University and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Georgia.

“I am honored to join Tennessee Soccer Club and be part of an organization that values development, community, and opportunity,” said Clifford. “I’m excited to build relationships with families, partners, and supporters as we continue to grow TSC’s impact throughout the region.”
