Champions Premier League

By Supplemental Programs

The Champions Premier League (CPL) is back and ready to host another great winter season for our Tennessee Soccer Club players and families.

CPL blends players from all TSC locations onto equally balanced teams for league play. This 4-week program is a great way to keep our players active during the winter and it allows them to stay engaged with teammates as well as our coaching staff. This is a great opportunity to get additional touches on the ball while keeping the competitive spirit alive. CPL is a member benefit to our players and only accepts registrations from active TSC players. Think Academy Days -- Indoor Style.

"The CPL has been a great program bringing together the younger members of the club in a fun, competitive environment. It's great to see the kids come together and share their enjoyment of the game while continuing to work on their skills in the off season." - Graham Whitehouse, TSC Technical Director

FRANKLIN, TN – Tennessee Soccer Club (TSC) hosted its annual Battleground Tournament of Champions this past weekend, welcoming more than 4,300 players and 14,000 visitors to the Greater Nashville area and providing a significant boost to the local economy.

“The weather and fields were fantastic as we hosted this year’s Battleground Tournament,” said Jimmy Drain, TSC Tournament Director & Events Coordinator. “You could feel the enjoyment from the players in their smiles, as well as from spectators, coaches, and referees. The level of play was very high and led to a successful event. We’re already looking forward to October for the Music City Invitational.”

The event featured 322 teams from eight states and 37 soccer organizations, contributing to hotel, restaurant, and retail business throughout the region. In all, 519 games were completed across 44 fields. Matches were hosted at facilities across Williamson County, including the Williamson County Soccer Complex, Franklin Recreation Center, Crockett Park in Brentwood, and Bethesda Sports Park in Thompson’s Station.

Teams brought a variety of playing styles and strong competition, creating an outstanding atmosphere for players and fans alike.

The Battleground Tournament of Champions is part of the TSC Tournament Series, which will continue next month with the Music City Invitational in Murfreesboro, TN, October 24–26. That event will take place at the Richard Siegel Soccer Park, one of the premier soccer complexes in the region.

TSC Teams Successful in Presidents Cup, Southern Regionals, and ECNL Postseason

FRANKLIN, TN The Tennessee Soccer Club 2009 Williamson Girls Showcase team advanced to the United States Youth Soccer Presidents Cup National Semifinals at the Tournament Sportsplex of Tampa Bay in Tampa, FL this July.

“It was an incredible season where we won together, learned together, and never stopped fighting.” said TSC 2009 Williamson Showcase coach Leonardo Santamaria. “Not only did we achieve great results on the field, but we also grew as a team, and as a family.”

The 2012 Williamson Girls Showcase team also shared travel plans to Tampa after a USYS Presidents Cup Southern Regional Championship.

Meanwhile, 800 miles to the north, the ECNL RL (Elite Clubs National League Regional League) Girls National Finals were also taking place at the West Creek Field Complex in Richmond, VA. The 2012 ECNL RL Girls, champions of the ECNL RL Central Regional Playoffs, competed against Legends FC from California in the National Quarterfinal match.

Two weeks later, the Southern Regional Champion 2011 ECNL RL Girls traveled to Orlando, FL to play in the USYS National Championships at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex where they won two games, but were edged out by the eventual National Runners-up.

“When you get a group of girls who work so hard, enjoy being around each other and have fun every time we get together, it’s what makes coaching so enjoyable,” said the 2011 ECNL RL Girls Bossman. “It’s why I love doing this and why I’ve loved having this group of girls.”

Overall, many teams competed this summer at various regional championship events including USYS Southern Regionals, Presidents Cup Southern Regionals, ECNL National Playoffs, ECNL RL Regional Playoffs, and SuperCopa all representing TSC.

“I’m incredibly proud of how our TSC teams grew throughout the year and built towards these moments,” said Director of Soccer Stephen Jordan. “As we shift into 2025-26, I am excited to see what we can achieve into the future.”
