WHAT IS THE HALLIE SCRUGGS MEMORIAL AWARD

Hallie Scruggs was a vibrant, spirited young girl who brought energy, laughter, and fierce determination to everything she pursued. She was strong in her faith, and she was known for her playfulness, competitive drive, and ability to make everyone around her feel valued. Hallie embodied the best qualities of youth soccer – joy in the game and unbreakable team spirit. She shared these qualities with us as a participant in our TSC Nashville Recreation program.

Hallie, along with five others, was tragically taken from us by the senseless shooting at The Covenant School on March 27, 2023.

Thanks to the generous support of a small group of donors, we have established the Hallie Scruggs Memorial Award to ensure Hallie’s legacy continues to shine.  This memorial award was created to celebrate and perpetuate the qualities that defined her: being loving, fierce, loyal, and fearless.

The purpose of the Hallie Scruggs Memorial Award is to recognize deserving female players within the Tennessee Soccer Club organization, supporting their continued participation in soccer through varied TSC programming.  Each year, award recipients will receive financial scholarship toward club dues for the following season.  The Hallie Scruggs Memorial Fund has been established to support the award on an annual basis.
