Successful TSC Battleground Tournament of Champions Draws Over 13,000 Visitors to Greater Nashville
FRANKLIN, TN – Tennessee Soccer Club hosted its annual Battleground Tournament of Champions, presented by Republic Bank this past weekend in the Greater Nashville area. The tournament welcomed 309 teams from 48 clubs across nine states, bringing over 13,000 visitors to the local community.
“This was one of the strongest fields we have seen at Battleground,” said Jimmy Drain, TSC Tournament Director & Events Coordinator. “With teams traveling in from nine states, the level of competition was outstanding, and the energy across all three venues carried through the entire weekend. We are grateful to Republic Bank and to everyone who helped make this a fantastic weekend.”
Competition ran across three Williamson County venues — the Williamson County Soccer Complex, Crockett Park, and Bethesda Sports Park — where more than 500 games were played across 40 fields over the course of the weekend. The tournament drew players, families, and club representatives from across the region, contributing to hotel, restaurant, and retail activity throughout the area.
The Battleground Tournament of Champions is part of the TSC Tournament Series, which continues to bring high-level competition and regional economic impact to Middle Tennessee. TSC thanks Republic Bank for its continued partnership in presenting the event, along with other club partners, the players, coaches, families, and volunteers who made this weekend a success.
TSC’s next event in the TSC Tournament Series, the Music City Invitational, will be held October 23-25 at Richard Siegel Soccer Park in Murfreesboro.
