FRANKLIN, TN - With the new 2021-22 year, Tennessee Soccer Club kicked off with two Coaches Education sessions on Saturday, August 7th at the Williamson County Soccer Complex. The in-person educational sessions, led by TSC’s Director of Soccer Stephen Jordan and Technical Director Graham Whitehouse, presented the coaches with different types of training environments at both the Academy (U7-U12) and Competitive (U12-U19) age groups. This is part of TSC’s investment into helping our coaches continue their own education.
Every year, TSC returns an experienced and well qualified coaching staff as well as adding more coaches for the 2021-2022 Season. As we continue in grow in all four locations – Murfreesboro, Nashville, Sumner and Williamson County – it is important that the right coaches are identified and trained to continue the Player Development Pathway so that each TSC player can achieve success.
Jordan added thoughts on the day, “It’s always great to bring all our coaches together at the start of the season, but even better when we create environments that get us all talking about soccer.” Some of TSC’s Academy and ECNL players were able to participate in these sessions for coaches to watch, analysis, and ask questions to their peers. “We have many coaches eager to learn more, and we’re excited to be able to provide this opportunity now, and many more as the season unfolds,” Jordan added.
Jordan and Whitehouse will continue throughout the year with in-person and virtual coaches education to enhance the quality of our coaching staff on and off the field.
