Tennessee Soccer Club Hosts Successful Boys College Information Night
Franklin, TN - On Monday night, Tennessee Soccer Club hosted a Boys College Information Night for the U15-U19 boys at the Brentwood Public Library where over 150 players and parents learned about the college recruitment process.
The informational session was run by TSC's Boys director staff, U15-U19 Boys Director Sandy Pollock, U12-U14 Director Josh Severns, and ECNL Director Dean Blain.
"It was a fantastic night and a great turnout," said Pollock. "At TSC we take pride in helping our players reach their goals of playing collegiate soccer."
Many topics were covered ranging from terminology, the recruiting timeline for boys, examples of proper communication with college coaches, social media, and even more. In addition to the presentation, the floor was open for an extensive question and answer period.
"Part of the college recruitment process is just about educating players and parents of what to expect," Severns, also a former college coach noted. "If we can help prepare our players, then they can find the right college experience to fit them."
TSC also has partnered with SportsRecruits to provide a free account for all of our players as a tool to research schools and communicate with college coaches. TSC coaches and directors, using the SportsRecruits, can help players with the process and facilitate better communication pathways.
