Nashville, TN - Tennessee Soccer Club welcomed teams from seven different states to the Music City for this year's Music City Invitational. All games were held at TSC Nashville's Soccer Complex in Bellevue October 11-13.
"We were very happy with the MCI this year in our first year hosting the event as a merged club," said TSC Tournament Director and Event Coordinator Jimmy Drain. "There was a good mix of younger and older age groups participating and we were able to have some new clubs attending who have never attended a TSC event. This will be a great platform to build on in years to come."
Teams from Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio and of course Tennessee competed in the MCI. TSC's next major outdoor tournament is the Tennessee Invitational (TNI), held each year in May at several facilities in Brentwood and Franklin. TSC hosts the Winter Indoor Series each winter over the course of three weekends in December, January and February.
