Nashville, TN: Tennessee Soccer Club (TSC) is excited to announce a partnership with D1 Sports Training as the club transitions into the 2018/19 season. With this partnership, D1 will work alongside TSC Coaching Directors to create and implement all Strength and Conditioning components into the TSC curriculum.
D1, The Home of Athletic-Based Training, specializes in making athletes faster, stronger, more agile, and explosive, while also building character.
“It is great to partner with D1 and continue working alongside their staff to make an even bigger impact on our membership,” said TSC Executive Director Stuart Brown. “We feel that incorporating a strength and conditioning component to the TSC experience is so important, and not just in regard to soccer. The partnership with D1 will assist us in promoting overall health and wellness to our players during their time with our club.”
Beginning this summer, D1 staff will interact with portions of the TSC community on a weekly basis through team training, individual training, and additional camp / programming initiatives. D1 will also continue to provide training space for TSC teams throughout the course of each year.
“We are excited to enhance our partnership with Tennessee Soccer Club,” said D1 Chief Operating Officer Dan Murphy. “Their leadership understands the value that strength and conditioning can have on a young athlete. TSC is the premier soccer club in the Greater Nashville area and we are thrilled to partner with them at this level.”
Also, as part of the partnership, the D1 logo will be represented on all TSC player uniforms and training jerseys for the 2018-2020 uniform cycle.
