Ronnie Woodard added to Guilford County Sports Hall of Fame
GREENSBORO, North Carolina - TSC Director of Membership Services and ECNL coach Ronnie Woodard was added this week to the Guilford County Sports Hall of Fame. In a ceremony at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro, NC, Woodard joined nine others as a part of the 2019 Hall of Fame class.
"We are incredibly proud of Ronnie and this great accomplishment," said TSC Executive Director Stuart Brown. "Ronnie is an incredibly valuable part of our full-time staff at TSC and has made huge impacts in the lives of players. This honor is well deserved."
"I’m humbled and honored to be inducted into the Guilford County Hall of Fame," said Woodard. "I have been so fortunate to have so many positive role models, mentors and coaches to help shape my career. And to be surrounded by family and friends made last night so special."
Woodard, who currently coaches the 2001/02 Girls ECNL team is no stranger to success on and off the soccer field. In 2016-17, she led the TSC 98 Girls to the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA) National Championship, the first ever by a Tennessee club. In addition to TSC, Woodard is the Director of the South Region for the Olympic Development Program as a part of USYSA.
At the collegiate level, Woodard coached for 18 years, most notibly leading the Commodores of Vanderbilt University as the Head Women's Soccer Coach from 2001-2010.
Off the field, Woodard is a television commentator for Nashville SC in the professional soccer ranks.

Tennessee Soccer Club is the premier youth soccer club of the Greater Nashville, TN area with over 3,000 players participating in recreational and competitive soccer across three locations; TSC Murfreesboro, TSC Nashville and TSC Williamson. The club competes locally, regionally, and nationally in leagues such as the Tennessee Youth Soccer League, US Club Soccer National Premier League, USYSA’s National League and Southern Region Premier League, and the Elite Clubs National League. TSC has won multiple state and national championships in recent years through competition in these leagues.
